over the years,Cleveland has had many professional sports teams that have not been able to survive(remeber the Barons of hockey?).It is not because of bad attendance or mismanagement as much as it comes down to $ and cents. Cleveland has so many markets in its area from other major cities that the advertising income available for the local sports teams is sent to other bigger markets.Therefore,the home teams have less money to work with and have trouble keeping stars.

Cleveland is a major city with the same problems of some of the smaller-city markets and without the support and money of the big businesses will remain in the state of influx its teams find themselves in.

Finances really do not care about fans....just bottom line....money

I hope you don't loose them. Where are they possibly going this time. I hadn't heard anything about it. As bad as the Bengals are, I really don't want them to leave. Do wish I'd quit hearing about their illegal activities on the news all the time. Sport teams are good for the areas they play in, bring in a lot of money even if they aren't a winning team.

I think it is highly unlikely that the team will move, I think they need to suck it up and pay to get the better players
