Do you have one-day planner or calendar?

I found a style and format that works and use the method to record all the important dates, appointments, and key facts. If you have one planner for work and another for social appointments, you are likely to overlook conflicts and miss important dates.
It is also wise to have one family calendar or planner for recording events and obligations that involve one or more family members. You can avoid dissapointments by realizing that no one can be in two places at the same time. So do yourself a favor. Write it down in one place where the whole family can see what's up. life is complicated enough, why cultivate confusion.

I have been amazed at "Day Timers" since they came out! I love those things and think they are just so cool and organized and neat. Sadly, I have never been busy enough to have one to use it properly. I saw that movie "27 Dresses".. she used a daytimer... it was the coolest...all those appts and reminders and just your life in your hands and all. How cool is that! I would love to be able to keep one, but just not busy enough to do it! I just have my calender at my desk and write on it as needed.

Last post here was 6years ago...does that mean no one has been organized for 6years? or does it mean that everyone is so organized that they don't need to chat about it anymore!!!LOL!!
Lot has happened in 6 years. All kinds of hand held devices to keep you organized and connected...but I say...no one needs to be 100% accessible 24/7/365 (accept maybe a doctor) so cell p hones have ruined our lives as no one can talk anymore...everyone texts. No one can spell anymore, words are always abbreviated due to texting. People would rather text than talk/make a phone call...there goes communication.
And now with PDA's and the like...everyone is so "scheduled" that they don't have time for anything anymore.
I say...LISTS are the best way to stay organized. Write it down on a piece of paper and cross off when complete. No batteries to die, no batteries to re-charge. No monthly bill.
I still keep lists. I don't have a cell phone, just a land line and email. And i am completely organized in every aspect of my life other than just not having enough time to get as much quilting done as I would like to!!!
