| | | 2. superachael (14) | 1 year ago | I have seen the play and I have also read the book. I loved both of them so much, but they both have totally different feels to them. The book is much more dark and it really grabs you, but the play is fun and it is alot easier to stay with the story. I read the book first, so when I went to see the play, I was so ANGRY when they made Fiyero & Elphaba come back at the end.. and how Fiyero ended up as the Scarecrow. It made no sense! Fiyero dieing added depth and feeling to the story. But as I said, the play was just mostly fun. But ya, I love both of them so much but just in different ways.
