Can someone explain to me the meaning of Daughtry's new video "It's Not Over?"

OK, I like Chris Daughtry and I have to admit I'm not too familiar with dissecting music videos, so if it is a stupid question, I'm sorry. But I don't get the message of Daughtry's music video "It's not Over." Can someone explain the whole thing. Are there two women he loves? Was that his kid? Was that a child of someone he was in prison for hurting? See, I'm lost.
