Through out the world differnet people eat defferent food. I am not telling about the kind of food like Italian or chinese. I am asking about main ingridients. Like in some country they eat rice as main food. For someone may be bread is a main part of their meal, or may be for some it is meat.
So, what is your main food?

We like rice alot, bread too much. Tend to eat a few too many potatoes. We eat our share of chicken, beef, pork, however it is seeming to be mostly chicken these days. We like to go out to chinese, KFC, Ponderosa. But our favorite these days is Ryans or Fire Mountain...they have a buffet and so we get all our favorites and some new things now and then. Hope this answers you adequately.

Rice is definitely my main food ahhaha even until now I have already moved to Australia, but every day I will still cook rice and eat rice. Otherwise, my stomach doesnt feel full if I dont eat rice and I may get headache hahaha its kinda troublesome :)
But as for what goes together with rice, there are many things, and not really a main ingredients, such as vegie, meat, seafood etc2 :)
How about your main food?

I guess the bulk of our meals is meat and veggies.
I can't eat anything with a lot of carbs. So, our main meals can not be potatoes, pasta, rice, or bread. Although, the rest of my family loves these foods...they do not eat a lot of it out of respect for me.
If we have burgers, they do eat their burgers with bread...but I am still eating just the meat with the fixings and veggies.

Nice to know that your family care so much about you. It's easy to keep your routine going on if family members are supportive.

Chicken! We (my husband and I) eat a LOT of chicken. In any given week we have chicken about 4-5 times. We also have a lot of potatoes, usually red ones.

This is pretty hard to answer as I eat just about anything .. rice, pasta more than other 'staples' like bread or potatoes ..
I hardly ever cook big meals .. like roast dinners or meat and three vegetables .. not really my kind of thing .. I do like soups, toast, lots of bean type meals ..
So I really don't think there is any real 'main' food that is in a lot of my meals .. just a bit of everything !

As a proud Canadian the one thing that is common with all three meals in our house and that is Bread. I love good bread, lots of grains.
The next most important thing for me is potatoes, Mmmmmmmmmm and then meat. I love red meat.
You give me a nice roast, potatoes, gravy and bread and I am a happy guy.

Our staple diet is Rice, we have rice in atleast two meals everyday. I love rice and can't go without it for more than 2 days. It's not very good since its rich in carbs, but we've grown up on such a staple food so it's difficult to change. I'm trying to cut down on the portions atleast nowadays.

I love Indian food .. I once had a very nice Indian family living next door .. mmmmm the smells were sumptuous but it seems to take such a long time to prepare all the dishes and cook everything from the basic ingredients everyday .. I need 'speeded' up versions and lots of shortcuts .. but them I suppose you lose much of the freshness of the food ..
