Velázquez (or Velásquez), Diego (1599-1660). Spain's greatest painter was also one of the supreme artists of all time.

it's Velázquez PaulMel :) I am from Spain and i have been to the Prado Museum in Madrid, which has the largest collection of the painter in the world, and it's incredible, including his most famous painting "las meninas". He is definately one of the greatest spanish painters of all time, but you should also add others like Goya or Picasso :)
