Be yourself. Don't pretend to be someone else. Don't try to one-up her or him. If she or he's as nice as you and everyone else thinks the same, then she or he won't care. She or he'll still love you like a sister or brother. Look nice and good. It's important to look good if you're always with her and people compare you two. Be clean and looking good and in shape. Talk to everyone and be friendly. Hang around your best friend, so that others will know that you're friends. It's always good to be friends with the most popular girl or guy in school.

That's really great advice! It's really important that one be content and confident of one's own capabilities and appearance. Being jealous won't help. Healthy competition is greatly encouraged but it should end there. It means one shouldn't go beyond anything that would destroy a friendship. There's even this saying, "If you can't beat them, join them." Actually, looking back, I could say that all the popular people in my school before didn't even end up better than the others.

No need to thank me, thank yourself for the good work you're doing and you're welcome!
