I was once a very shy person, and girls seem to think (both then and now) that a shy boy is not a good date.Give a guy a chance and give him time to get to know you and get comfortable with you and you will find out he is okay.

very dangerous like a volcanoe waiting to erupt without any warning.i would rather be with someone who can express themselves and not feel unconfortable with other people.

I have absolutely nothing against dating a shy boy. I am extremely shy myself, so my only problem with dating someone shy would be how long it might take us to really be able to talk to each other, lol! But I could see myself meeting a boy who is shy online and getting to know him that way first. No way would I ever turn someone down just because they are shy. I know all too well exactly what being shy - and not just shy, but painfully shy - is like.

I was very shy around girls back in high school because of my physical appearance. But then some of the attractive girls in my school were the stereotypical type you see on teen drama shows. They also had the same stereotypical thought that just because I was a shy guy I was either a loser or a nerd. They were right I was a nerd, but a nerd who earned a scholarship degree! Yeah, In your face!!! Pardon, just savoring the moment. My girlfriend remembered that when we first dated that I was extremely shy but at least I learned how to have a decent and meaningful conversation. Because of that we had our 2nd 3rd 4th and so on number of dates. During those times I learned to open up and just take things smoothly. When I was already working I had the time to go out with my high school batchmates. The girls were so impressed by how much I've changed in every aspect. They kept complimenting me on how much of a better person I've become and that I'm so macho and sophisticated to talk with. I simply replied to them that none of me has changed that much, I'm still very much who I was back in high school with a few genes that kicked in. They just didn't bother to spend some time with me back then that's why they thought I was cool now. I'm not cool, I'm just me.
