If I manage to keep my hands off the computer for just one day...today I am going to reorganise my house. Every couple of months or so I have this urge to move all the furniture about! I get bored very easily and get sick of seeing things in the same places!
Is anyone else like this or am i just really wierd???

It's a sickness! LOL
Seriously, I used to be very bad about moving everything around. Hubby never knew where things would be when he came home from work. Due to back injuries, I haven't been able to move the furniture around like that for years. Now, when I do get wild ideas of where things would work better, hubby does the moving. ha!
I also wonder if it's a genetic thing. Both of my daughters who are on their own, do this. My oldest is almost worse than I use to be. You never know which room will be her living room when you go in her house. I THINK my son-in-laws have finally learned to accept it.
Come to think of it, my 13 year old daughter has already started doing this. She's constantly moving her bedroom around.

I don't think its weird at all. I used to do that a lot. Now I'm happy with the way the furniture is organised I don't do it much anymore, but I still like to move things around from time to time, I think it makes thinkgs look different and sometimes that helps you looks at the world in a different and new way as well.

I have a friend of mine who is moving all her furniture about every month or two just like you do...I don't know how she does this...I have not enough physical strenght to move furniture around. Secondly I don't think of a better way to display my furniture in my house...Instead she can always find something new and I think this is very creative of her...you shoul meet...think of how many changes you could do, the both of you together!!! I think I don't get annoyed with things so easily...I happen to affectionate to things, even to my furniture and seeing that I've just finished choosing all my new furniture and that I feel my house is becoming my own home, I cannot think of moving things aroung.
But believe me you're not alone and there is nothing odd or strange in what you do...I think it depends on how we feel about things...it is a matter of character!!!

When I was first married I used to do this all the time , I used to decorate a room in a day and move everything around , My husband used to get out of bed half asleep and walk into the wardrobe doors thinking that where the door should have been lol, this house doesn't lend itself to moving things about xx

Not me, I put something somewhere and that's where it stays. I put it where I want it the first time. I rarely move stuff around. I hate when people do that every few months, it messes me up. Most of the time they make it worse then before. It leaves the room with less of a flow or less space then before. Just put it somewhere and leave it lol.

If you are really weird, then count me as being the same..lol. I get really bored of looking at the same thing all the time and have changed my living room around twice since christmas. The bedrooms are usually changed around once every 3 - 4 months.
