It seems I have a hamster farm going on here.

Okay people bearwith me here this is rather long.We had started out with a male and female hamster about 3 years ago and they never had babies.My husband said that he read online that Petco stores' hamsters are kind of like hamsters that are used in labratory purposes and then Petco gets them.Wether that is true or not are female hamster never got pregnant.Well when are other two hamsters died(the female hamster named snowball died last,and she liked to jump off of this thing we had in her cage and we had to take it out because we were afraid that she would get hurt.)my husband already got 2 other hamster before snowball died and she got along great with the new male and female hamster.I guess they thought of her as a mother.But the female hamster Daisy, never had babies either.Well we went to Petco and was going to get the male for Daisy wich is named BOO BOO ,the employee said that it is best to get the hamsters from the same littr and then asked us question ,Practically grilled us down to the tee about what cage she was going to be in and everything.At the time we told her an aquarium(they are in a caged hamster cage now)she got kind of rude and said you cannot put that hamster in a aquarium they need to be in a hamster cage and then proceded to give us a lecture after lecture and said well her dad breeds hamsters and that she knowsa alot about these things.ME and my husband were upset and mad about the situation so we proceeded to leave not without me talking to the manager first.The manager was nice and said that look at what their in now and of course they were in a aquarium ,and she said that she had no reson to tell us that and that she would talk to her.Well we bought BOO BOO home.Well after snowball sied we were left with Daisy and BOO BOO.We went to the Exotic Jungle Pet store and saw baby hamster wich all of my hamsters are dwarf hamsters,we proceeded to bring Tiger home.Well dumby me I saw the other male hamster wich is called Wiggles and brought him home they did not get along so we had to seperate them which left us having 3 cages.Well we got another white one that looked like the last hamster was named snowball at Petco and brought her home.My husband put her in Wiggles cage but he wanted nothing to do with her,he then put her in Tiggers cage and they got along fine.We thought oksy the last 2 sets of hamsters that were male and female never had babies this wouldnt either.Wrong!We came home after a trip from visiting his sister and I thought at first Gracie had squeaked but when she raised up I seen little babies arms and legs moving around.She had 5 babies total 1 being a girl.They were really cute.We gave the boy ones away seperated Gracie from Tigger so their would be no more babies and ended up keeping the female hamster that Gracie had and named her Princess.SO we have 4 cages total.Gracie ended up dying which was said because she reminded me of snowball and I could trust that she wouldnt bite me.We never knew how she died.So now we have a total of 4 cages and 5 hamsters.The cages are hard to keeep up with having 2 kids as well as taking care of the hamsters.My husband tried to talk me into gettig a cat that someone was giving away and it was litter trained and a good cat but I said NO!We have enough pets right now.I told my husband no more hamsters until the other ones pass away and that means noother pets as well whether its a cast dog,ect.I like dogs and cats but 5 hamsters are enough for now.Anybody else out thier have hamsters or a hamster farm.HE HE HE.
