People whon i havent seen for a long time would exclaim about my size upon seing me. they would always tell me that i have gained so much weight and i always tell them that its just the natural result of giving birth to two healthy children. But they would still continue on making comments of how big a have become as if it's such a tragedy. The same goes for my sister also since gaining weight but strange as it may sound, we are not bothered about being overweight. Even if i was as fat as a pig, i still felt good about myself and confident in my abilities as a person. Being overweigth is not a tragedy as long as I am comfortable and happy with myself and it doesnt stop me from doing what I want or ought to do. Being overweight doesnt also mean that we no longer take care of our body or that we are not physically healthy. I know some overweight people who are healthy and leading very active lives. Just take for example MTV VJ Nicole Fonacier who is overweight but she's very sexy, intelligent, beautiful, oozing with self-confidence and very successful. Good self-image is everyting and is just what we need to do what we se tout to do. We dont have to be thin inoder to attract a man or be successful. I have found so many pople who may not look much at first glance but once i get to talk to them, they beocme more appealing and beautiful. Their enthusiasm, spirit, sincerity and confidence that radiates from within is simply captivating. I also know some women who are overweight but are happy with their love life so dont even think that romance and love is only for thin women. there is more to us as women and our body is not the only interesting thing about us. If i feel good and happy inside, i would definitely look good outside no matter my dress size. A lot of overweight children too would grow up happier and less ridiculed if we try to change our way of thinking regarding ourselves and what really matters...and that is we are beautiful, lovable and okey just the way we are.

You have said it all. Just be yourself, believe in your self and work hard. Size has nothing to do with it. Self cnfidence is it. some guys prefer fat women. It is a matter of choice. Don't allow yourself to be looked down upon. Thumps up.

thanks for your response. i really believe so strongly about this and a lot of people, men & women alike, would be happier if we learn to see beyond the physical. God bless and more power to you...
