Twice in the past six months or so I have been awakened by a burning sensation on the back of my left leg radiating up and down from the knee towards the upper thigh and towards the lower calf. I will get up and walk around on it for a few minutes, and nothing helps until I take a couple of aspirins. Occasionally, I will have leg cramps that awaken me in the middle of the night in the same leg (left leg). I work standing for about 60-65 hours a week.

Consult your physician immediately and avoid self medication. It could be something as simple as some form deficiency in your diet.

Are you suffering from Sciatica? You need to take some bed rest but do not prolong staying on bed. You may visit your physical therapist to take a look at your diagnosis. I am thinking that ultrasound using phonophoresis method will help treat it, you must be having back problems.

Hi william and welcome to mylot. I would consult your dr and have him check you out. A lot of aspirins can be bad for your stomach. It could be anything from a pulled muscle/tendon to some nerve damage, the length or time you stand per week could aggravate it. Until you can see your dr, Alternate motrin and tylenol, take hot baths and use some bengay/icey hot on the areas. Legitrin also helps for leg pain- but please make an appt for your dr soon,my friend! Hope your feeling better soon
