What are your favorite books on science?  

Yes, it is interesting to learn how things exist and how everything relates to each other. Do you usually get your information online then? What sites should I check out?

Yes I do usually get my information online. Since I cant paste in here yet (till i each 500 posts) It would be easier just to tell you how I get to the sites. I use yahoo or google and look up Biolgy or biology online. The just click on sites that you like.

hi you don't say what areas interest you. a good start would be to go to nova science now on the web. they have videos for you to watch on a variety of subjects. the piece on black holes is particularly good with some excellent animations. a lot of the classic sci-fi novels from the fifties have some good science in them but you need to know enough to tell what is genuine knowledge and what is speculation. if your up to it "a brief history of time" has a good description of the universe and cosmology. david attenborough has published several excellent books on biology and numerous tv programs as well. have fun!

I didn't want to be too specific about a particular branch of science. I love to check out Nova specials, on PBS and online. I will check out David Attenborough. Thanks!

I am interested in basically all branches of science. Perhaps I shouldn't have made the question as vague as I did. I really meant "what book would you recommend on your favorite branch of science." Sorry to make it hard guys!
