I dilute my kids juice like juicy juice because my son would not drink it at first when he was around 1 year old.I guess maybe it might have been to strong for him.I put about half water and half juice for my kids in thier sippy cups.Alot of other people have told me they have done that too.I probably wont do it after a certain age but right now I think maybe the jucie can be a little to sweet for kids and they do not want to drink it.I dont dilute orange juice though.

Yes, I definitely dilute. My child gets no more than 4-6 oz of juice a day. Rest is water. When you say orange juice, is that freshly squeezed or from a carton? If it's from a carton, I would dilute that as well.

The orange juice is from a carton. But if its the Tangerine Juicy Juice then I dilute it.I guess I cant imagine drinking orange juice diluted but the other drinks of the juice I can.

I dilute it too. My pediatrician even recommends it. It cuts down on the acid and the sugar. One of my baby books suggested it also. One of the big mistakes people make is thinking that they are cutting sugar out by taking away all sweets but continuing to give them juice. Juice is full of sugar, even though its natural, its still sugar.

My kids all loved juice. I did dilute it with a bit of water at first but the Dr. advised getting one that was unsweetened, no sugar added and that way they got pure juice. So, I would slowly add less water until they drank all juice. It is funny that even to this day, they are young adults, they love drinking pure juice even out of the can from unsweetened fruits.

I use to do this for my son when he was little. The pediatrician told us to do it to avoid him getting too much sugar.

I do half juice half water also. My son would drink juice all day and not eat anything if I let him.
