I read in the news paper todaay that a teen mom 18 years of age had a baby. She gave birth it all by herself. She was scared and didn't know what to do with it. So she walked up to one of her neighbour's house becasue she seen light on and heard dog barking.
Temperature were around minus 30. The baby was outside the door for about ten minutes. The neighbour reconized it when he went out to warm up his car. He brought it inside and luckly his wife was a nurse. They called 911 and something simliar to child services. The baby was alright and normal health for just being born in the same day.
What are your thought and opions on this?

Sheeeeeeesh, poor little mite. This seems to happen all too frequently but usually when the mother is a lot younger and afraid to tell her own mother. I think it must be a mental state, because of the pain and trauma of giving birth alone. I'm not too sure, but I feel sorry for the babies, and indeed for the people who find them in that state. She probably thought it would be ok because the neighbour's wife was a nurse, but just the same, she could have rung the doorbell and beat a hasty retreat.
Besides that, if she gave birth alone, she will need treatment. She ought to see a doctor herself. I feel quite sorry for the mother actually. This must be an awful thing to go through alone. You need the security of medical people around you, in case things go wrong.
I'm glad to hear the baby was ok. No doubt it'll be looked after now until they find the mother, wherever she might be. Poor little thing.
