My desktop is a custom built model pieced together with components of my choosing (no particular brand). My laptop is an HP that I've had for a little over a year. I've had no problems with it and am very happy with it's performance.

Mine is an assembled desktop ...Its around 6 months old ...its quality and performance is outstanding

I find buying a PC really difficult because I always want the most up to date technology for the money but you always know as soon as you hand over the cash they'll release something new and it'll be out of date before you know it!. My pc is about 1.5 years old and is made by Evesham and is great quality, so much better than my old pc but the only thing that really annoys me is the graphics card, the fan on it sounds like a jet engine.
