My son would eat nothing but corndogs if I'd let him, my daughter only picks at anything I place on her plate. And my husband's just as picky as the rest of them. I of course like most Everything. Any ideas? I can't afford to go out to eat where they all choose something they like, and I am running menus through my kitchen.

Well, I like a lot of things also, but at one point everyone in my family had their picky moments, and we ended up having to eat things that we just did not like. Now, being married, if my husband doesn't like anything, he will eat something else, small, and then tell me to please not make it again. However, I like to make really simple dishes and usually I like to make international foods. Like spaghetti, or stir-fry, and I really like rice. What I really recommend, is the better homes and gardens cookbook. I have made so many recipes out of it. It is easy to understand, and you can read the "quick" preparation section, so that you can make like 3 simple things, that everyone can eat. However, they should not be allowed to pick and choose what they want to eat. If you stand your ground, after a week or so, they will be eating what you want them to, not what they want. You are older than them, and know better, I know that it is hard to hear little ones cry, but, I used to babysit my friend's child, and he has learned to eat cooked meals, whereas in his home all his older siblings eat junk food. You have to be strong, and tell them that you know what is good for them, because you are the mommy and they are the babies. I believe that some habits can be reversed when they are young. I hope that you do not feel that I am intruding, I only want this to be easier for you in the long run, it may be hard for now, getting them to adjust, but it will pass.

I used to make a taco pie that might be up your alley. I would make cornbread pour i/4 batter in bottom of baking dish sprinkle with taco seasoned beef onions cheese and then pour i/4 batter on top bake 40 mins @350 then top with shredded lettuce tomatoes and cheese. I make the rest of cornbread for snacks later.
Also quick and easy chicken place boneless chicken in baking dish pour ranch or creamy italian dressing over chicken place in oven 40 mins @350 no other seasoning needed and bake potatoes and a green salad.
