If Lex weren't evil, I think he would make a cool friend. He has potential for good, but he took a path down the dark side. Once he and Clark stopped being friends Lex became even more evil. I think being good friends with Clark could have posssibly saved him.

Clark's friendship with Lex was the main reason I used to watch the show. I was very disheartened when their friendship went away. I would have loved for this show to go completely Elseworlds and have Lex become a lifelong friend, but of course that was not meant to be.
