I've been collecting cigarette lighters for more than 20 years. In fact at one time I have been a member of as many as 6 lighter collecting clubs at one time, world wide. My husband and I have consulted on several books on the subject and are well know to the older lighter collecting community. I offer you a free service - show me your lighter and I will help you date it, identify it and perhaps even value it at no charge. Please include a phot with your request. There are several free image hosting sites, such as imageshack, photobucket and auctiva. I am also interested in buying large collections of older lighters that use liquid fluid.
