What would you have done..? Send yr parents to a old age home?

Just imagine this is happening to you, you love yr mom and dad and they are getting in their 60's ( considered a time to retire) and they do not find peace and are tired of the ups and downs in yr life they want to get into a home for the aged and insist on it everyday and it breaks yr heart and yr trying to avoid it and finding ways to keep them happy but because you have a busy life u cannot spend much time talking with them and have yr own problems too.. What would you do, how would u stop them? And how would you make them know how important they are to you even though you have only a day out of a week to make them happy..? Please advice!!

What can i say , i'm in the same position as you ! First off all , comunicating it's the best way to rezolve this ! Just say how much you care for them but this ain't what you had in mind ! Try convincing them that you need to have youre on life ! Tell them that you will come and visit every week , it will be like before only that you and youre parents wont live in the same house ! The second method that i recomend is , making them feel useless , but not in a bad way , just makeing them see that youre a grown man and you can take care of youre life now ! Probably they will realise that and decide to step out of youre way ! Have a nice day !
