What is the most comfortable pair of shoes you own?  

I am not a nurse so I don't think I can give you a really effective advice on what the best and most comfortable shoes should be worn by nurses. Although, I have many friends who are nurses, and I do see them wear the same kind of shoes. I notice that they are wearing a sort of white synthetic leather shoes that looks to me like they are soft and very comfortable to the feet. Perhaps you also have one of those.

Hello fellow nurse! Good for you to go for comfort rather than style! I know you said you weren't interested in traditional white nursing shoes, I normally am not interested in those either. However, I did try a pair of Quarks (I got the one you just slip your foot in,and there is a little 1/2 inch high thing in teh back that hugs the heel into the shoe) and they are seriously the most comfortable, light-weight shoe I have ever worn! They probably don't weigh a full pound together! As for tennis shoe variety, I swear by Brooks. I have narrow heels and other tennis shoes don't fit me as well. I got fitted with a pair of Brooks last year and WOW!...no comparison to Nike or any of the others! They have such good padding and arch support. I will never get a tennis shoe again that isn't a Brooks! Best of luck to you!

for me, it's a sandal.but for you, it's not polite to wear.So,leather shoes is the best choice,such as ToD's.

I wear mostly dress shoes, but I have gel inserts so I feel no discomfort when wearing them.
