How Do You Deal With Uninvited Guests?  | |  There is a friend of mine who 'drops in" almost every day for coffee and small talk. I don't want to be rude to this person nor hurt their feelings, but it is getting on my nerves. I am a writer for a newspaper and I work from my home. I often have to rush to meet a deadline, and when this person drops in it unexpectedly, it is distracting. What should I do?

Or the other option. Run out of coffee!
