What are some strange pets you have had?

I've had a Burmese Python that got up to about sixteen feet long, I had a water dragon, I have a bearded dragon, I've had a pot bellied pig, two goats, an octopus, and I currently have a hedgehog. I just kind of end up with animals - I have a soft spot for strays and abandonment cases.

A guy I dated had an alligator right at the headboard of his bed. I hated spending the night with him because I could feel it staring at me with it's evil, scary, yellow eyes! He also had several snakes, everything from big python's to little milk snakes. Being afraid of snakes, our relationship was doomed to fail! Even when he tried to get me to see how gentle and nice they were, I would go into panic mode irrationally. We had a baby shark once when I was a kid. Does that count as a strange pet?

I've had: Rats, mice,hamster,snakes,catfish (caught it but didn't want to eat it) ,carp(ditto), eels, frogs, salamanders, earthworms, preying mantis(es), rabbits,guinea pigs, bats,centipedes, snapping turtles... Oh, and the occasional dog and cat or two! LOL! :)

Umm, I had a ball python and a mouse (separate cages, of course) at the same time. I also had a monitor lizard at that time as well. Now I just have a dog and 2 cats.

I have a squirell. Her name is Lila. She fell out of a tree during the Frances hurriane; Her and her brother. The dog got the male but I saved her. She's a nut! She hates plastic bags. When you shake one at her she chatters and squeals. It's so funny.:)
