What digital camera do you use and how would you rate it?

I had a digital Kodak that took great close-ups but when it broke, I replaced it with a Canon and was surprised at the vivid color! But, I can't seem to take good close-ups with it. I'd like to get some opinions for the next time I need to replace my digital (which I hope won't be for a while)!

I have a Kodak and love it . I would like if the zoom was even more then it was as I would like a bigger zoom but was told I can get a bigger one for it as an attachment . The color is better then my sister in law , who has a canon . Her's cost much more and has a lot more features on it but I didn't want to make extra for the look of something , I wanted quality and this is what I feel I got . I would rate it at least a 9 .

I guess it all depends on the model as I like the color the Canon gives better. I also didn't like that fact that Kodak defaulting to it's own editing program.

I need a Canon Powershot A420. I need an upgrade, but I'm happy with it for the time being. It's a little over 2 megapixels, but it usually takes great pictures, as well as video clips.
