hello kitty!!!!!

I love Hello Kitty since I was in gradeschool (and now I am in grad school already). Some of my friends think that I am too old for this though. I have a Hello Kitty cellphone accessory, a Hello Kitty wallet, a Hello Kitty pencil and lots of Hello Kitty bags.

I am presently working on Hello Kitty Counted Cross Stitch pieces. I just finished Dear Daniel Kitty.

I also did a post on Hello Kitty Ballerina and have her up and posted as well.
I make the pieces for a Binky Patrol group that we turn into quilts for sick children when we get enough pieces of a theme together.

My love affair with Hello Kitty started when I was still a young child. My aunt who was married to a Japanese guy would send me Hello KItty and Sanrio stuff. Ive always loved hello kitty but I did not have a lot of hello kitty stuff until I started making my own money and living independently and away from my home country. I could buy what I wanted and add it to my collection. Im now married and 30 yrs old but I still collect and fancy hello kitty stuff. At my bridal shower, my friends threw me a hello kitty bridal shower and they all gave me hello kitty stuff! That was such a blast!:) I have a lot of Hello Kitty stuff from kitchen stuff (waffle maker, bread toaster, Water Dispenser, sandwich maker, apron, kitchen gloves, glasses and mugs) to figures/figurines to stationery, notepads, notebooks, pens and other stuff. Also have suitcase, laptop bag thats hello kitty. Ive accumulated them over the years and most of them are gifts from hubby and good friends. They are not so easy to find in this area in the USA but I buy most of the stuff online so I still have access to stores selling Hello Kitty!

Me! I have quite a bit of kitty stuffs but not too much because my mum will kill me. My shower head is hello kitty and its really good to have a bath with it after a hard days work. Do you feel by just looking at hello kitty, it makes you feel better? It does to me. They are easy to find in my area but in Taiwan and Hong Kong, there is even more variety and cheaper. Of course, beware of fake kitty... hahaha

I love hello kitty although I dont have many items of her, but I know over here you can get lots of things now in target, morning glory and sometimes spotlight. I want to get some hello kitty sheets and a doona for my daughters bed so I am going to go to spotlight shortly and investigate what they have!

I have a carebear glass collection that I bought off of ebay. They sold the glasses at pizza hut in the 80's. I have some hello kitty socks and I have hello kitty shoes and sandals.I have my little pony socks.

I definitely love hello kitty! I have stationaries of her since i was elementary. I have also pillows, slippers, bag, earrings, tumbler, cellphone theme (hehe) purse, diary, cellphone holder and comb. I still have lots too long to state it lolz! Its easy to find it here since sanrio stores are present at malls. What im sad about is there are also lots of imitaions of hello kitty. Poor kitty kitty...
