Not at all, although I think it would bother the man. I think if one of you has more earning potential than the other it is usually just because of the nature of the job you do rather than your intelligence and there is nothing to be done about that.

no..i am hoping too any way cos he hates his job at the moment..and even he doesn't mind..even though he is old fashioned..we can have a business together..and that is what we are aiming to do..he is a lovely man and neither of us will feel diminished because of who is earning what..now we are together we are one unit..we always talk of our money..not his or mine anymore..

Nope. Not unless it will bother him. Because if it will, then it would create friction between us. I've noticed some relationship fail because the wife is earning more than the husband. Oftentimes, the reason was the husband feels insecurities.
