Valentine's day... bad gifts  

I was on Yahoo Ansers earlier and someone asked if it was ok to buy his wife/gf and apron for v-day. another guy said he was going to go to the bar until the 29.99 bears were on sale fo 4.99. My thoughts are for #1- an apron is like buying a cookbook. ew. obviously no. and #2 is just sucha cheap skate that i told him that i hope she figures him out by next year so he'l be alone and won't have to worry about buying anything.
My BF and I don't have a lot of money this year so we decided to get one little (like flowers) gift and then we went to wal-mart, bought some craft things and made each other gifts. I think this is very sweet and thoughtful and yet inexpensive without making you look like a cheap @$$hole. What do you think about spendingon V-day? or on gifts like aprons:P
