There was huge snowfall in Chicago

It was a lot of snowfall yesterday in Chicago area, about 8 inch in the evening. And the airports were closed for atleast 2-3hours. I was in Orlando and I had to return back yesterday. I thought my flight was also going to be cancelled. But thanks God the airports were opened and my flight got delayed just for 20 mins, But at the time of landing at the MCO airpport in Chicago, it was still snowing and the plane just wandered around in the air for atleast half an hour as there was a lot of snow on the runways. It was terrible but Thank God we reached safe though late but safe home. Have you experienced such thing.
