| A Family Project Day  | | | |  Here's what I've done with my children to kill a whole day and have a great time :
We get up and go downtown and pick up a cheap instant camera for each of us. We go for a walk and just take pictures of whatever catches our fancy. We usually pack a lunch of some sort and make it a picnic out. When we are done lunch and out of film, we go back downtown and drop the film off at the one-hour photo place. While we are waiting for it to be developed we go to the dollar store and pick up stickers and doodads (lol.. i don't know what the name for them are but we have lots of little things in our craft section to add to scrapbook pages). And we either grab a sheet of posterboard each or go to the dollar store and get those books they make for babys that are the hard board and only 5 or 6 pages. Then we go pick up our film and come home to scrapbook with the pictures we took. Every one has a great time and you've got a cute momento of your day out. The kids love to take them to school for show and tell.

| |  I really like this idea, too. And I like the thought of doing it for a birthday party. I think I'd have to wait 'till my boys are a bit older, but I'm going to file it away in my mind as a plan for another day.

| |  That's a really neat way to spend the day. I used to buy my kids the disposal cameras every now and than. I never thought of the scrap booking idea. I would just give them a photo album and that was that. I love your idea so much better. Maybe I can do it with my daughter when she is a little bit older. My other children are beyond Mommy and Me time.
