Beef Stew in a Crock Pot

I boil the beef first with some ginger and discard the impurities. Then I cut it into desired peices. Place it in the crock with some water and beef cube for 4 hrs. By that time the beef is soft and chewy. I will transfer it to the stove and boil it with some potatoes another 15 min. and cabbage last thing and put off the fire.
