APO Address

APO stands for "Army Post Office," and is associated with US Army or Air Force installations.

if you have a unit or battalion mailroom, then you do have an APO that you can use. howeverr, the only time you would want to use on is if you're stationed overseas. some places, it's the only way to get mail. also, it costs nothing extra to recieve mail from an APO, as opposed to an address CONUS. mail is forwarded free to an APO from you're unit in the US, regardless of the package size or distance.
