Has anyone else had a problem with colored pencils? |
| |
| I've tries a few different brands and it seem they all break easily. they barely start using them and the lead just falls out of the pencil, so I am constantly sharpening. Anyone else having this problem? | | | | | |

| | We buy those colored pencils that you roll up from the bottom. It's almost like lipstick, but as a pencil .. They push back in if you push too hard instead of snapping. You just have to make sure not to roll them too far out or they can break. My kids love them and I don't have to sharpen! (I get them at Wal-Mart in the school-supply section :) ) | | | | | | |

| | i don't have this problem. But i would like to suggest that u make use of crayons which are a lot better than the breaking color pencils. | | | | | | |

| | The older kids love the colored pencils, since its easier to do more detailed coloring, and staying in the lines. | | | |

| | I know exactly what you mean! See if you can find the thick pencil, they would have to be twice as thick as your normal pencil but they are 10 times as strong. I'm sure they cost more but they are well worth it for young children, they are easier for the hold as well. | | | | | | |

| | sorry about the grammar...I just got up, that's my excuse anyway. It should read, They are easier for them to hold as well. | | | |

| | I would say it's poor quality in the way they are made. I have a set that break all the time right after I sharpen them. I usually don't even sharpen them until their sharp, just enough so I can use them for a while. You will find if worth it if you buy higher quality colored pencils. Good Luck. | | | | | | |

| | I have had this problem before and it turned out that the lead inside the pencil was brocken it pieces. It was when i was at school and i used to throw my school bag around. So i always had to sharpen the pencils, or i pressed too hard on it and the lead kept on snapping. Try buying a thicker colouring in pencil. I think you can buy thicker ones but they may be more expencive i am not too sure sorry.. | | | | | | |
