| Need advice on buying a baby grand  | | | |  I am looking to buy a baby grand piano and do not want to spend more than $6k. It does not need to be new, but so far I found 2 new ones in my price range and don't know anything about the brands. One is a Pramberger and the other is Hobart Cable. Also, I've heard conflicting opinions about pianos made in China. Anyone have some advice?

My own experience of Chinese pianos is that they are generally cheaper, but also of inferior quality. My friend almost bought one, but when she looked at it in detail it was obviously of low quality. Of course, I don't wish to brand all Chinese makes inferior, but this has been my experience.
