How many people have been to or lived in hawaii?

We are going to Hawaii for the first time this April. We need some Rest and Relaxation so Hawaii is the best place for it because it's relaxing and beautiful and the best paradise. We currently have some distant relatives on my mom's side that live in Maui. Our parent's friends used to live in Hawaii before they moved to Texas. I don't know why they would choose a boring state over a paradise. Hawaii makes a lot of money in tourism. If it wasn't expensive, we would go there often.

I dont remember if i was there for 6 or 7 days but it was the best time i ever spent there. I loved every single minute of it and i loved seeing a rainbow in the sky every single day. The beautiful clear water in the beaches was the best part.

I spent two weeks there when I turned 18. Honestly to me it is like any other big city. Not to be rude but the Hawwiian's were very rude to me and my friend that I was there with. They don't seem to accept outsiders very well =) It is pretty with the beaches and all though. I just got treated meanly so many times that it left me with a bad immpression.
