Should Troi and Riker have gotten together before the show ended?

I would like to know if any TNG fans out there were as upset as i that the show ended with Toi and Worf together instead of Riker and Troi.

I don't like Riker. I think he's a rather unespressive character. The couple Troi & Worf is surely more interesting.
