A man last fall aproached a co-worker at his work at Memorial Herman hospital and asked her to kill his wife for 10 grand. The reason; a half a million life insurance policy and a girlfriend. They wife and husband have children together also. The co-worker went to the authorites and that was that.
What in the world was he thinking??? He could have just left as she stated. To put so many through so much agoney, and what happens if it had led to murder? What about the children?
What could be wrong with these people beside being very selfish, self centered and self indulgent.

well, a girl and a lot of money can make a man's heart blind. Even if the co-worker killed his wife, I'm sure the insurance company will find out sooner or later and he won't get the money, or if he already gets the money, he'll have to return it and go to jail. Insurance companies have the best investigators.

It is really hard to understand, and is even more scary when there is a personal connection.
Several years ago my husband and I were driving to work and as we were listening to the news, they broadcast an item about a middle-aged woman and her mother who were found murdered in their upscale home. The middle-aged woman was someone that my husband had dated while he was going to university and they had planned to marry. However, her mother decided that he was beneath their class and not worthy of her daughter. As it turned out it was the 18 year old son who had arranged for 2 of his younger classmates to murder his mother and grandmother so he would inherit the estate which was valued at 4+million.
This kid had everything. A movie called "Scorned" and a book written by Lisa Hobbs Birney, called "Such a Good Boy" were produced to explore this person's life and to try and determine what motivated him.
Greed. Pure and simple.

Sad isnt it. This man is obviously missing something inside him. This is a man who would only be thinking of his own future and no heart to reach out beyond his own wants and needs. Just think, now everyone knows it, his children, his now ex wife, his family,...the world, and thank God he didnt physically hurt anyone, allthough the mental scars he left on his loved ones will be there for a lifetime. Disgusting and disgraceful I say.

It makes you wonder what this world is coming to, there doesn'r seem to be any value left in life, people just think about themselves...no wonder there is so much depression around, if you think too much it brings you down.

It is pure evil and sickness. Very frightful. The greed of money can be quite powerful to cause all kinds of awful behavior from people.
