little brother  | |  My little brother went to the doctors around oct. of 2006 for leg cramps, it turned out he had leukemia. He has been in a hospital in mass. for the holidays, came home after Christmas. Well, he just shot up a high fever and went to the er. They found out he has no white cells and has an infection they can't seem to find never mind cure. People are saying I should prepare myself for the worse. but how can you on something like this? Is there a good chance they can give him white cells to help fight off the infection with todays knowledge/technology or what? I don't want nothing to happen to him, and my son wants to give him some of his white cells. If only it was that simple and/or possible...any nice advice out there?

Unfortunanely, I do not know much about cancer, otherwise I could give you some direction to find the answers to your questions. If you believe in God, then it might be a good time to ask him for some direction, and hope. Go on the internet and start searching for all of the information that you can. Andd in the mean time, I will pray for your little brother.

 pudgles (199) | 3 years ago | thank you so much for the info. I passed it along to my mom so she can ask the doctor about it. I went to see him on Saturday and I almost cried seeing him in so much pain. All his hair is gone now from the kemo and he is on so much Iv's and meds. He just wants to go home. Still no white cells though, and still the infection, even the most potent antibiotic meds don't seem to be clearing the infection. Again, thank you. Have a nice day | |

| pudgles (199) | 3 years ago | i told my mother of the medicine and i will see my brother sunday. they transferred him by ambulance today back to massachusetts for he isn't getting any better. no blood transfusions, etc. is helping. i pray this medicine that you mentioned will help. he had noticed before that the docs were giving him someone elses iv and we were wondering if this could of gave him the infection. he looks at all ivs now before any goes into him to be sure its his. again, thank you and please keep praying... | |
