What's The Best Tull Album? |
|
I'd have to say songs from the Wood though I also like "Broadsword And The Beast".
Has anyone heard their newest album jtull.com? I bought it after I saw them at The Cropredy Festival a couple of years ago

1. Morticia (330) | 3 years ago | Hm, I maybe heard few songs from that one; it's new and I still can't find anything equal to what Tulls have done in the past.
It's just not the same... It misses something, I dunno what exactly, but it hasn't got that certain "something"...
Maybe I sound too comfusing:\ Ok I'd say that my favorite is Thick as a Brick, though Aqualung and Stand Up are 1000% excellent too:}

2. otshock (205) | 3 years ago | The first album I ever heard of their's was M.U. the Best of Jethro Tull and that's probably why it's my favorite. Second would probably be Heavy Horses. Ian Anderson is the best flute player I've ever seen.

nancyrowina (2026) | 3 years ago | Have you ever seen them live? It's amazing to watch him play the flute, he still has so much energy and stands on one leg to play some solo's.

5. avranesjr (771) | 1 year ago | 'Aqualung' without a doubt, although 'Benefit' is a close second. They were the first band I saw live (Mountain opened, but Tull was the headline), and it was the Benefit tour, although they did play 'Aqualung,' 'Locomotive Breath,' and 'My God' from what was to be there next LP, which became 'Aqualung.' And I loved your comment about Ian Anderson playing on one leg--I loved it, lol!!!

6. stmech0 (1384) | 11 months ago | Aqualung for me, I have favourite tracks on all thier albums but Aqualung is the only one I can really savor every single track without skipping one. My least Favorite is Broadsword, I never could get into it at all.
