Have you ever tried flaxseed? It's quite good and very healthy. I usually stir it in yogurt or cereal. It has a nice nutty flavor to it. But there are many more uses for it.It contains Omega-3 and a lot of fiber, so it's very healthy for you. It's know to lower cholesterol as well.The best way to get it, is as flaxseed meel or ground flaxseed.
Have you ever tried it and if not would you?

I like putting in homemade granola. We have also found a peanut butter in the store that has flaxseed oil and flaxseeds added in it. It is very unique and yummy. I suggest people use their imaginations in using flaxseed in cooking and eating.

I didn't know they had peanutbitter with flaxseed in it. I will have to try that.

I use flaxseed oil in my smoothies all the time. And spirulina. As far as flax meal, I keep it in the fridge and always add a bit to baked goods. If I make homemade breads (like zucchini bread or blueberry bars) I always sub in some flax meal for flour. I also buy the cereals that have whole flax seeds. It's one of the best additives to your diet, I think. And tasty.

Yes it is very tasty. I love it in yogurt, because it has a bit of a nutty taste to it and gives the yogurt some substance.
