Looking to buy a used guitar

I'm looking at a vintage 1970's Ovation 1111 Balladeer acoustic guitar. It's in fairly good condition. Does anyone collect guitars for a hobby? I have a few but not this type. Does it have good sound and how does it play? I'm not sure of the price range, the guy wants $175.00 but that sounds a little steep. Any ideas?
