I would never purchase a pet online but I have known people who did. I personally prefer to met my prospective pets in person before deciding to take them home. Plus you need to be careful where the pets are coming from, their health and things like that. There are people who don't take care of their animals and are only in business to make money, they don't care about the pet themselves.

The last poster is totally right. I would strongly recommend against buying a pet online. It is important to see and interact with the pet (I am assuming it would be a dog?) before you take it home to see if the pet is right for you and vice versa. Also, its always advisable to buy a pet from a reputable breeder who can provide health information, and if not, then from an animal shelter where there are always plenty of sweet and loving dogs that need homes. Good luck in finding your pet!
