Requirement for becomming a Swimming Coach  

In my country, in order to become a swimming coach, you have to go to sports college and graduate of course. You need to be extremely healthy and have straight As in physical education in high school. These are the rules here. I don't know where you are from, but I guess it's kind of a general fact...

I became an assistant coach while I was in college, to tell you the truth there isn't much requirements here in the Philippines if you want to become a swimming coach. The best credential you can have is your swimming status, if you won lots of medals back when you were a swimmer then more parents will hire you as coaches of their children. I suppose you should ask the swimming coaches in your area as laws can vary from place to place. Good luck!

Hi Im Toya I do a lot of swimming and open water plus synchronised swimming and diving. Well its different in different countries but I think you have to get gold medal swimming plus a life saving in water qualification - thats from uk - where do you come from? - write back and ill see if i know about qualifications in your country
