 I have been a member of search big daddy since August 2006. It's a search engine just like google, alta vista, yahoo, etc.
The difference with search big daddy is you can join as a free affiliate and earn advantage points.
The basic concept is you can trade in your advantage points for FREE advertising.
In November 2006, I upgraded to a paying member because I liked the perks.
My question is if you are a business person, wouldn't you be interested in gaining free traffic to your website? The biggest complaint I have seen from a number of people is they aren't getting any traffic. I think the biggest reason for this is because it's still fairly new.
If you watched the super bowl...you probably saw their ad.
Search Big Daddy..keywords mean business!
Unlike Google and the other search engines..search big daddy is releasing city portals. I am the city keyword manager for the city of Orlando. I jumped on board because I believe search big daddy created something AWESOME! But now, I have cold feet, maybe I am just nervous...
So, I would truly appreciate it if you took a minute and
did a search in hometown or city. And tell me what you think. Do you think this is something you would enjoy using? Do you think it would make your life easier? Do you think the genral population would appreciate using a search engine for their city?

I like it but i think google will still probably beat it as it's simple although i do like big daddy.=)
I honestly can't really answer the rest of the questions as i'm not a general search engine user. i just stick with google 99% of the time as it's quick for me.

Is it easy to find what you need? I have a horrible time using any search engine finding anything I need in Orlando. I usually have to write a book, so to speak....and most of the links aren't revelant.

In the past 6 months, I have seen search big daddy add video tutorials to the back office to teach people how to set up there accounts. They added bloglanding, free classifieds, ecards, video ads, cloud pages, social bookmarking, friends network, pet friends network and now the city portals. All of their advertising methods are free. You can still sign up for a free account and advertise your business. I have been grabbing my free top keywords for MYLOT. If you use the following link and search on these words....my referral link for mylot will show up in the iframe...

The beauty of the system is once you have obtained a top keyword in the iframe. You only pay 30 advantage points per month per word to keep it.
Even though Search big daddy is still in the works, I feel this is the best time to get and select the top keywords before search big daddy launches completely. I don't get much traffic but I have seen in increase.

Honestly! i never get satisfy with google and never got any exact result if i searched there. I prefer to search on other search engines and glad to find a new seach engine which'll n't give me only search results but also money. Thanks for telling the site.

I am a member of big daddy too,but I could not afford to upgrade.Wish you all the best in your quest.
