Has Anyone Taught an Online Class?

I am teaching an online class in biology this semester and would appreciate any helpful hints you might have learned from teaching your online class. Or if you have taken an online class please tell me what you liked or didn't like about taking the online class. I just want to create a good learning environment for my students.

I loved my online classes but I could do with less of the class discussions and class projects. Some teachers just went overboard with it. I like to be graded on my own work. I understand the fact that sometimes you have to projects with others. Other than that it was a great. I did at my own pace and was able to continue working.
