I am convinced of this as I recall the many times where, had I had a gun with me, I would have killed someone because the moron deserved it and I would end up in prison anyway. Gun control is ridiculous, in my view, and would join the NRA in a heartbeat, but I would never, never own any kind of firearm. The temptation to go grab the damned thing every time you get mad would always be there. In so many instances a minor scrap leads to a shooting death just because a gun was available to one or more parties to the dispute. Guns are horrible and I will never own one because I cannpt trust myself. It's that simple.
