Planning my 10-year anniversary snow skiing trip...Any advice?

I have been snow skiing at Beech Mountain, NC, about 8 times over the past 15 years or so. Stevie and I got married April 12, 1997, and spent our honeymoon at Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. That was so much fun! We forgot to get a map of the mountain and ended up lost on the back side of the mountain when they began shutting down the lifts...thank goodness for ski patrol. : ) We have our 10-year anniversary coming up this April and would like to go snow skiing again. We are limited in funds as I am not currently working right now and we are about to begin building a new house in the next few weeks. If you have any suggestions on somewhere we would enjoy skiing and that is reasonable please let me know. Also, please let me know what other attractions are at the location. Or if you could suggest any cost-cutting ways for us to go please share that too.

I live in South Georgia, but would be willing to go anywhere if it wasn't too expensive. I would love any information that you could share with me. Do you actually live in Vermont?

We would like to go mid to late March if possible. So any info would be great. Have you ever traveled to go snow skiing? Are you a regular skier?

Ski Utah. You can fly into Salt Lake City. Stay in the foothills and drive to most ski areas in 30 minutes. Prices are cheaper than Colorado's resort town. If you do want to come back to Colorado, try Winter Park, less congested and lodging is more reasonable.
