I really want to try to start cooking with tofu. I have never tasted it, but I am very adventurous with food. I need to be careful with money and I could also stand to lose some weight, so I'm going to go lean on the red meat and try tofu. Can anyone tell me any simple recipes to try with tofu? Any advice as to how to NOT eat it?

for simple tofu recipe that you can enjoy too ! just saute onion & garlic with olive oil then add lean ground pork , soy sauce , pepper & salt then cook for few minutes. then add cubed bell pepper & tofu slices . serve with rice & vegetable salad ! very healthy & easy to prepare . .
tofu is great also with chicken , brocolli , cauliflower , carrots , corn kernel & snap peas cook in sesame oil with lots of garlic & onions .
for a no meat tufo recipe just saute spicies of your choice with olive oil then add tofu , chopped walnuts , carrots & bean sprouts with salt & pepper to taste or add little oyster sauce to give more awesome flavor.

I fry tofu with a little bit of oil and garlic.
Tofu really has no taste so any spice will do.
Sesame seeds also adds a good taste.
