I am sick and tired of all the mails I get saying I won millions of $$$ and EUROS, etc..etc. I just can't figure out why I am being targeted with such mails and don't know who is genuine and who is not. I have checked on the 419 scams and most of the mails are similar to the ones listed. Any experiences anyone? Anyone got money for real?

Honestly all those lottery winnings emails are scams. I would just delete them and move on. Don't fall for their scams and give them any of your information, because before you know it, they will have cleaned you out of all your money. Now that I am seeing that you have posted this 4 years ago and you only did a few responses to mylot discussions, then I think you won't see this post, but hopefully you didn't fall for the scam.

Don't worry they are not just targeting you. You may get a lot just because you email has been on lists bought/stolen by these people. Pretty much, if you did not personally enter a lottery, then you won't win it, simple as that. Companies put on contests to bring in more customers, so they would tell you if they were entering you in a contest and you would have had to give them your information and permission; you wouldn't be entered without your knowledge. So, if you have never heard of the company claiming to have money for you, it is a scam.

Check out similar discussions on Mylot. Those lottery e-mails are all scams. Remember if you have not bought a lottery ticket you cannot win. Disregard them. How did they get your e-mail address. These addresses are often sold back and forth.

I think they are all scams. If you haven't played or entered into a lottery contest, how can you win one? I get tons of them everyday. I just delete them.
