2. ElicBxn (15048) | 3 years ago | I lost a friend about 8 years ago. I read (listened to) The Five People You Meet in Heaven and found it a very interesting take on the afterlife. I probably should actually read it, there is just something about slowly reading a book, re-reading passages that listening to it on audio fails to do. I will have to buy it if I want to, maybe I'll listen to it again.

Just for being a human being it should be required reading.
I am sorry about your mom I know how hard that is.

6. Pinggarcia (194) | 3 years ago | I liked "Tuesdays with Morrie" better than "the five people you meet in heaven."
But that doesn't mean the latter is no good. It's also very well written, and informative too. Not too sure if it's "real," of course.
I just felt "Tuesdays" is more dramatic, and it tells a true story of a dying man.
How about the other books of Albom?
