Yeah I watch sometimes, and I really don't know how these people do it. I'm lucky if I know a third of the answers, and I consider myself rather well educated: I'll be a doctor in June. It makes me wonder if they hang around and study trivia or something.
On the other hand, my boyfriend is almost as good as the people on the show! He went to top notch private schools all his life, and I think that's where he learned most of it.

Thanks. :)
I should tell him to join. He'll probably laugh at the idea, though.

They have an on-line test a few times a year. You can sign up to be notified about it at their web page.
What is, "www.jeopardy.com " ? (lol)

I watch it, I hope to learn something from some of the questions. My hubby and I make it a contest to see who can shout the question first, he usually wins. The other day I was watching it and I was getting most of the answers right. Then I realized that it was a teen tournament lol. Oh well, at least I felt brilliant for 30 minutes!

Yes, I've watched that too. I also got most of my answers right and my wife told me, aren't they good for high school students. Are they? was my quick response. Well just like you, it's nice to feel brilliant even for a few minutes. LOL Cheers.

I do agree that anyone that participates on this show are very intelligent people. You have to have knowledge in a great variety of different subjects to do well on this show. You can not be knowledgeable in just one area but you need to know a lot in different areas. I know that I would not do well on this show. Those are some really tough questions that they ask. Sometimes they have questions that I can answer easily but not often. Last night was amazing as the three contestants finished in a tie with $16000. How incredible is that? :-)

Hello manong05.....
I agree.....
30 minutes 61 Q's & A's......the best thing on TV. I've had days when I've been able to get 90% of the questions right......other days I've been lucky to get 4 or 5 right. Always a good time. I hope it's never taken off the air.

Don't you get it in UK, oh, that's sad. It's a question and answer program where contestants just have to answer questions under several subjects, practically all subjects under the sun. I find some questions are really out of this world, but most contestants know the answers, unbelievable

They are brilliant. I took the on-line test a few weeks ago in hopes of qualifying (I haven't heard back yet). Some small part of me doesn't want to qualify as the contestants seem a WHOLE LOT smarter than me.
